Looking for Information to hunt Jacks in Saskatchewan

I know you can hunt rabbits and jacks with dogs in sask
But I would like to know if I can do it of a night
By lamp

As I recall, Sask has a No Discharge at Night clause in the books. Check the Regs, but I think Lamping, you are gonna have to go to England or Australia for.

IIRC, Ontario allows night racoon hunting with dogs.

yeah mate i know i cant hunt of a night with a firearm.
i did a serious amount back in the uk and used dogs on the lamp.

but the regs are vague when it comes to dogs on certain species of small animals ( i know game, wild boar and certain RMs dont allow the use of dogs).i did have a lengthy conversation with a CO not long ago
and he was a complete fck wad when i mention hunting with dogs for rabbits.

he basically accused me of hunting deer with dogs, dont ask me were he got that from when i was only asking about jacks and rabbits

Gonna need bigger than 22 long rifle. Please don't go there underarmed. Clean harvest.

I don't go out after them specifically, but usually encounter them when shooting gophers with a .22lr and in those situations the jackrabbits get just as dead with a head shot as gophers do. I have also taken them with a 12ga when they blunder into a bird hunting.

You get much practice sir on smaller pests.
The OP hails from NS. A province with pretty much zero chances of high volume varminting such as you yourself enjoy. The natural grasslands is a riflemans paradise.
Cheers
