Looking for input on Campro 55 gr 223 and 32 cal 115 gr bullets?

I am hoping to get input on these bullets.

The 223 55 gr bullet is destined for a CZ American 223. The plan is midrange loads, 2600 fps, for plinking and casual range use. The CZ is accurate, is 1.5 moa at a 100 even feasible?


The 32 115 gr is destined for a 32-20 lever at 1600 fps. 2-3 moa is fine.

These bullets are cheap enough but the package sizes can be daunting. 500 useless bullets is no deal.

I shoot the campro 223 55's out of an AR and a Remington 783 (22" barrel, 1-9 twist).
I load different for the AR versus the 783, but generally I get 'less than' 1 MOA for the bolt action. I'm still experimenting with powders and such, but to answer your question, with proper reloading techniques I would guess that for your rifle you can have it under 1 MOA no problem.
It also depends on how far you want to shoot it though, I only shoot out to 200M and sometimes 300M. At 300M it gets pretty bad, but enough to easily hit a 8" gong all day long. But 55gr past 300M isn't ideal to begin with imo.

The saving grace with the Campro's, is that they are relatively cheap, and if you don't like them - they are popular enough to unload easily locally if you had to.
 
not sure of your location, but if you're handy to the Niagara region let me know and i'll toss ya a few to test out.
I've used them w/h4895 for my ARs and my 7615. I've always got a few thousand on standby :)
 
I'm in windy Alberta. Thanks for the offer but they check out enough to give them a try. The plan is to cast for the 32-20 eventually and try 50gr Horn SPSX's in the 223.
