looking for Lapua X-Act Midas plus .22lr

I don't know that any dealers currently have any new stock of X-Act (or probably any Lapua ammo). If that's the case, what's left over are from the lots that weren't bought up by competitive or serious shooters who previously bought the best-shooting ammo.
Lot testing is the only way to determine if X-Act or Midas + (or any match ammo for that matter) will shoot well in your particular rifle. The name on the box is not a guarantee about how the ammo will shoot -- no matter if it's X-Act, Midas +, Eley Tenex, or RWS R50, all top tier ammo that are over $200 per brick.
