Would any of my fellow Nutz know where I might obtain 2-3 lbs of lead shot (up to say #6 or so) somewhere within reasonable driving distance from Bridgewater, NS.
I need this small amount for use as ballast in a motorized model ship I am building.
Thanks and cheers, Ernie T. Church Lake, NS

That would be a last resort, I guess, but I just hate the thought of wasting good ammo! I was hoping to find a local home roller that would sell me a couple of pounds of makin's.
Cheers, Ernie T.

Buy a box of 12 gauge and cut them open

It's going to be more than one box. you need at least 15 rounds per lbs.

Too bad you are not in my area, I would have had some for you but shipping is not really cost effective.

Thanks for all the advice brothers, much appreciate the help. The reason I thought I would use lead shot was that it would lay compact along the keel allowing me to set it in place with glue.
Thinking about again this AM - I will go to Crappy Tire and buy a large container of .177 pellets! It will take up a little more volume but will still allow me to adjust the ballast according to the water line.
Thanks again and cheers, Ernie T.
