Like the title says, anyone got any recommendations for a good M14 smith in AB?

Need to unitize gas cylinder, index barrel, bedding job, and trigger group tuning.

Thanks!

Sounds like a job for a guy from BC who specializes in M14's and has a year end sale on.
What was that guys name again?...........oh yeah, M14 doc;)

Dycor Special Services can do this work for you. Please give Kevin a call at 780-942-4096 to discuss what you want done and the prices for the work. Kev does the M-14/M1 Garand, Mauser Enfield stuff.

Yep, Kevin is the guy to go to definitely. Amazing work, I have two guns and couldn't be happier with them..

I don't think he works for Dycor no more or its M39A2 that doesn't work there..

Kevin & Scott would be the guys for this in the city but I hope you're not in a hurry to get your M14 back.

Dycor Special Services still exists and is pretty busy. Give Kevin as call as noted and discuss what you want done. Not tomorrow, we are shooting a match!

Airborn 69, what do you mean? Kevin can usually turn around an M-14 in less than a month.

Scott

we have a 2 week turn around average for the work you describe and special pricing to the end of the year, but as mentioned by others , I'm in the lowermainland b.c. . Strangley enough, other than a couple local guys stuff here, the majority of the rifles i'm currently working on are from ontario.
M14's are my specialty, contact me by email for questions ;)

Thanks for the options! Definitely will make some calls. Where is Dycor located? I know that ATRS is in calgary, but have not heard of Dycor before.

Dycor is based in Edmonton. Their shop used to be off 178 & 106 Ave in one of the many west-end industrial plazas, but that was two or three years ago now, and my understanding is that they've since moved. I'm sure Scott will chime in at some point.
