as the title says, I have one 30 rd mag, but I would love to have a few extra, saves having to reload that one right away when shooting. Anybody know where I could pick up a few of these, and what is the going rate for these right now? I found a great source in the states, but I didn't know how hard it would be to get them across the border.

thanks

what i do is have one 30 rd (for the cool factor ) and a few 5 rd mags for the range , 5 rd is cheaper and plentiful.

if they are not pinned when they cross the border then they are not allowed in.

hmm,

so if they are made to only accept 5 rounds then I could import them, I am not up on my importing laws, are they any more trouble than any regular merchandise? I could get them shipped to a friends in the states, and then bring them across myself after I have "fixed" them.

It would be cheaper in the long run to buy them here, Customs has their own set of rules they play by, and also U.S. Laws must be observed as well. I bought 8 brand new AK/SKS-D mags on the EE here for a good price a week ago or so. Just gotta watch the EE. Its not worth the hassles these days to import, you can lose if you screw up.
