Had a screw stuck from the factory that I tried to remove (cross threaded or a chip got into the threads during factory assembly) and of course the head broke off when I just couldn’t leave it alone (drilling and screw extractor was a fail). Decided to just replace the tip tenon and need at least one new screw. I found one possible online source in the states and I’ll check Western Gun Parts on Monday but hoping someone might know where I can find one in Edmonton/Canada.

One of the large remnants buyers that buy up remaining stock of shutting companies such as Marlin( Numerich etc.)might be the best bet on this. Or a hobby machinist friend might be able to cut & thread a new one in an hour.

I buggered my dovetail cutter or I might have been able to do one.

Thank you, I ordered from Numerich.
