I bought a Typhoon F12 (NOT Maxi) when they first came out two years ago. 2 seasons of 3 gunning and a few thousand shells later and it is a sweet piece of kit!
Pros:
There are legal 10 round mags for them now
Comfy to shoot
Extremely ergonomic
Highly customizable
Easy to mount optics
Cons
Sometimes spotty designs
Sometimes crappy material
A concerning percentage of them suffer from malfunctions which may never be resolved without performing gunsmithing urself.
Often have dysfunctional/basically non existent support. Costing customers both time and shipping money for problems the support often doesn't actually resolve.
Moral of the story.... u either get a good one, or u dont. Some models have more favorable odds then others.
Ive seen people buy them and love them, but ive also seen people buy them and instantly regret it. Ultimately loosing considerable money to the whole experience.
Im one of the guys who lost, and will NEVER try it again! Regardless of how many Turkey hunting photos moe and jay throw at me lol.
