Looking for new footwear

Very light, good support and absolutely water proof. I'd buy another pair in a heart beat. I wore these deer hunting, even when I had my danner acadia's sitting in wait. :D

The tread is in between soft and duty; I have found them very flexible on rugged terrain and VERY good on ice. I have worn them 8-12hrs a day since I bought them in November and they are VERY comfortable. I don't even have to think about them. I LOVE the lacing system. You tighten it, then with one step it evenly distributes. I have never had wet feet in these things, and when I first bought them I stood in a puddle to see what would happen.

are they insulated? I was looking for something for this spring/summer,...so no insulation.

like my post....i agree the north face give the best tread......and gortex...etc...
the 2nd and 3rd nike's relliot posted look good to

The ones I have are uninsulated. They breath well. I have wore them all winter though. "Hedgehogs", eh? What? You're going to have to tie your shoes like a cave man?

new footwear

Has anyone tried UA Hammer mid or low football cleat .......I have heard several really good reviews from people who used to wear Nike Land Sharks who thought they were much more comfortable all day and better performing

got my hedgehog mids....nice...they run large, so I got a half-size smaller,...
very aggressive tread,...but soft tread like a sneaker...decent ankle support,...got them at a great price.
the only thing I don't like is the laces,..they are way too thin,....
but that is easily fixed.

Check out the Original Swat line of boots

I won a pair of the 9" leather water proof boots. Been beating them up pretty good for the last 2 years.

I wear then in the snow, on smooth concrete, metal stairs (killers on tread).

The tread is starting to go but the boot is still in one piece.

They wear like running shoes.

I'm in them for 12 - 14 hours a day in all weather conditions.
