not sure if this is the right place for this but im looking for some new hunting pants. there isn't much available locally so i will likely be ordering online so wont get to see/feel them before buying, therefore looking for suggestions. not looking for something for extreme cold, mainly looking for non bib, quite and waterproof not resistant. suggestions? what are you using? cant afford something like SITKA at the moment but want something with a bit of quality

My favorite pants have been US army battle dress fatigues. They are very comfortable, and super durable. You can find them at most army surplus stores, or online. Just make sure you buy the real ones and not the cheaper knockoffs.

A lot depends on how much walking you do.

for walking I found a pair of Big B camo pants that were tough enough (for the most part anyway) for raspberry and blackberry canes, and uninsulated. I don't even wear long johns when walking all day.
For stand hunting late in the season, I use Tough Duck insulated work coveralls. They are tough and warm, but a PIA if you need to take a dump in the woods. Way too hot for any sort of walking. My stands are home built, and you are mostly shielded from view from below, so camo isn't really required.

You want quiet AND waterproof (not water resistant) AND quality AND inexpensive ...good luck with that search! If you find something like that please let us know because I will buy a few pairs!

I wear rain pants over everything if it is actually raining and I need that level of water resistance, most of the time I can get away with highly water resistant soft shell pants and some gaiters. These are softer and quieter than full on rain gear and offer a level of breathability and water resistance that covers most scenarios. Rain gear goes in the pack always though. You can buy some very good soft shell pants for anywhere from $150-250, depending on brand and time of year.

Newfoundland moose/rabbit hunting mostly and with the woods I hunt a stand isnt an option so all walking through thick brush usually, which is usually wet. That's my reason for looking for quiet and waterproof and warmth isnt a huge dealbreaker.
just out of school so this is the first time being able to afford anything at all really so i have no clue whats out there, therefore i come here looking for suggestions.
where i hunt its usually pretty wet with no stand hunting in thick woods, if i were to go on one knee 9 times out of 10 it is comparable to kneeling in mud therefor waterproof is preferred, also i wouldn't say inexpensive just want the best i can for the money like everyone does!

Understandable. My favourite hunting pants are Sitka timberline - if you can get them on sale or even lightly used they are terrific value imo. They have waterproof reinforced knee and ass areas which might be perfect for you even though the pants themselves are not waterproof. They are also very quiet and don’t pick up a lot of burrs. Like others have mentioned, I keep my waterproof pants in my pack and only pull them out when I really need waterproof pants.

My choices for pants are basically what I used in the 
pre metric era. During warmer conditions, I use the old GWG Red Straps with shortened pant legs. These, along with suspenders, were once the mainstay from my logging days on the west coast of the island. During cooler and snowier conditions, again with suspenders, I use wool fisherman pants.
