I am looking at loading up some new rounds for my .270 originally i was going to go with 140gr MRX but considering they have been discontinued, it has proven difficult to even find any in 140gr (130 or 150 is easy to find btw) so now going a slightly different direction. I am going to end up using a E-tip, TSX or TTSX and would like to know the different opinions of these, from people that have used them. Thanks for the info ahead of time

agreed. i use barnes tipped tripple shock bullets now for all of my hunting rounds. They are probably the most expensive bullet out there but totally worth it. Others even say they can take down 1 class larger of animal than what your caliber was intended for. BTW the ttsx is their 'newer better' bullet.

I cant comment on the Etips as I only used the Accubonds and TTSX's. I use the 140gr AB's in my 270WSM's. LOVE THEM!!! Great performance at the range and on big game...so I never developed a load using the TSX's I had back then....I traded them off for more Accubonds.
I use mostly Accubonds in my reloaded calibers, and I have reloaded the TTSX's in my 338-06AI, works great.
