i was just browsing the exchange forums looking for a decent camp gun and i think im leaning towards the Savage MDL 77. Just wondering what you think of this simple shottie...i already have an 870 as my bread and butter so im just looking at the savage as a camp/truck/beat the hell out of gun.
any comments on reliability, quality or just opinions would be greatly appreciated.
one question i do have: what kind of wood are the stocks made of? hardwood or cheap birtch?
