Looking for opinions Savage 10 BA Stealth or Howa APC?

Just looking for others experiences with the Savage 10 BA Stealth and the Howa APC. I have a savage axis and I know the bolt is stiff, the trigger can easily be fixed but the Stealth has the accutrigger so it should have a decent factory trigger. How is the bolt on the Howa? I have zero experience with Howa products so I'm really lost there. Anything similar in the <$1500price range I should look at?

At 100 yards the holes are touching so I got no complaints with it

That's good to hear. I only have a max of 500 yards I can shoot but I want to do it well out to there

I have a Stealth as well. Shoots very well, the only thing I do not like is the rear stock is not flat at the bottom, so a bag is harder to position to let the rifle slide back. Mine is the older black version. It's a 1/2 moa rifle easily. I have gotten 1/4 moa at 200m with it twice, and 1/2 moa out to 800yards. ( have not had a chance to get out farther with it yet ) I thought I would hate the accutrigger, but strangely enough it's actually quite good, at least on mine. Especially if you plan on hunting with it, ( I do ) no creep or grit, just a bit heavier than a pure target trigger.

Have a look at the stealth evolution if you're after a chassis model or the Savage desert tactical 110, it's a rifle stock but aluminum bedded and accufit system.

I keep hearing good things about Bergara Rifles. If tax time is good to me I may have to make room for a Bergara HMR in 6.5 Creedmoor....

I would not dismiss the Howa in my humble opinion it is better

The Howa APC Canadian Edition in 6.5 comes with a 26" heavy barrel

bergera 308 are either 20 or 22, they seem to think that is enough?

My buddies Stealth was regularly making hits at 800 with the cheapest of the cheap factory ammo.
