looking for owner/user impression of zoli z sport

Less recoil then a browning 525, better triggers also . I have about 40,000 rnds out of my zsport extra, still looks like new. I use 1oz 1350 fps shells, it really seems to like 1oz 1150's and is it nice to shoot with those.

I have the Z sport and have for about 5 years now, thousands of rounds though it. Only had one problem because it came with mechanical triggers, had it fixed. They are alot more popular in the USA then in Canada.
I have the Zsport, which is the older model, the new Kronos which is a z gun but cheaper triggers ect, they brought out to compete with less expensive guns.
So if you can find a Zgun get it. Cole gunsmithing in Maine will mail you parts ect.,they are a good source and have a web site.
As I said exellent gun, well made, make sure it fits and you wont be disappointed.
My thoughts.... cooner
pm me if you have questions

I heard there is dealer out west--i purchased a pre-owned but in as-new condition--the gun is built like a perazzi--if it shoots and has low recoil then this could be the best value for money shotgun--

The removable trigger is handy to get inside and clean--

I like it because it is a rare gun--and is very very well built

i shot mine for the first time today and i agree with other zoli users---minimal recoil evn using 1 and 1/8 heavy loads----crisp trigger pull, moves effortlessly, to me the trigger felt better and locktime was faster than a blaser-----

I shot at least 4 of them. They appear to be well made. Brad Kidd and Ashleigh Hafley are sponsored by Zoli. Brad Kidd won a US Open with one and Ashleigh Hafley won also numerous women titles with her Zoli. At one point she said that she had 200 000 rounds through it and didn't need any work done to it. I know also a shooter in Washington State who is also sponsored by Zoli. One drawback is that they don't seem to hold their value well. Don't know why. If you don't intend to sale it then it's no big deal. In Washington State most of the top shooters prefer to shoot Krieghoff, Blaser and the odd Perazzi. One interesting fact that I read about the Z gun is that they tested it with 5 times the regular charge of a shotshell and it held together. Hopefully it helps.

Luther at L&L specialties is where I bought mine. He is out of Calgary. Great guy, very knowledgeable and easy to deal with
