Looking for powdwer suggestions

I'm new to reloading and looking for a bit of help. I will be loading 9mm for my wife and 38spl Cowboy action for myself. Any powder recommendations will be appreciated. 158 gr 38 spl and 124 gr for the 9. Thanks

titegroup for the 9, 4gr at OAL of 1.135", my wifes prefered load. I like 5gr of unique at the same length. No experience with the 38 sorry

bulleye, tight group, 231, universal, etc etc etc.


i use tight group for the 9mm and bulleye for the 38 spl 148gr HBWC only, any other bullet is a different powder, for no other reason then i can.

If you are new I suggest 231 because it gets good results and is quite flexible.

I use Trailboss in my 38SPL, and in my 454Casull. It provides accurate loads with cast bullets, with minimum recoil.
