Hi Everyone, I am in the process of trying to fix up my dad's old 30-30 1894 sadle ring carbine. Like a lot of guns in that era it was not treated to well spent a lot of time rattling around under or behind the seat of our old pickup. I was able to find a new unfinished stock from the US which I hope to get in a few weeks and I am looking for someone good that can put some checkering on the stock and perhaps even put the final finish on it. My gunsmith will do the re-blue for me. I am in Bowmanville Ontario, (Toronto Area) as well I send a lot of time in the Renfrew area, Ottawa Valley. Does anyone out there know someone that would do a good job for me, hopefully in either ot the two areas but I am willing to ship it if it means I get the right job.
