Looking for rifle

Hi all,

I have been eyeing a SKS+m305 deal but I am not sure whether this will reduce the options I have in terms of clubs to choose from (due to ammo restrictions at certain clubs?), and they would also be more costly to operate due to ammo (although more fun I assume!). I have also been eyeing something like the ISSC Mk22. It seems very unreliable from what I have gathered however, but it does have rails and is cheap to run. Just wondering what others can recommend for a max budget of $800 and no hunting use.

For a .22 you can trick out a 10/22 pretty nicely on that kinda budget, check out the rimfire forum. What about EESA? A bit of a drive but top-notch facilities. If I lived in Waterloo, that's where I'd go, but being on the south side of Toronto, it's too much of a drive.
