I have been looking to acquire myself .22 replicas of long rifles such as the AK, M16, Thompson, M100, especially the Galil replica... Basicly, all the ones found on rockin rimfires website. They are so hard to find in Canada. So far I've obviously got myself a Krinker Plinker, just got my hands on a Rhineland R22, and that's where it ends lol. I was wondering if any of you know of a place that sells, or sometimes comes by these types of rimfire? I am at the moment trying to acquire an M16 .22 Squires Bingham version. Not sure if i will be succesful or not. How many of you actually own some of these jems? I am a huge fan of .22 ammunition as the price can't be beat, and a huge fan of these style of guns. Im hoping one day to have an extensive shootable collection of various exotic types of rimfire rifles. If you have some for sale, know of someone selling or thinking of selling, know of an outfit that specialises in this kind of stuff I would deeply appreciate the info. :)

Thanks for reading.

Luckily parts for the SB M116 are easy to come by at Numrich. The trigger group housing is made of plastic with cheap pins, but mine never broke. My safety never worked because part of the trigger broke off.

I never had any problems with my SB M116. Not a top or even medium quality rifle tho!

As for the AK .22s... they are prohibited.. Galil.. prohibited...uhh.. what else you got? oh yeah Thompson.. prohibited.. they are all "variants" apparently.

I have an Erma Werke M1 Carbine.. nice rifle and non-restricted since it's a .22 and barrel length rules don't apply.

I made some too! I turned a TOZ-78 into a Mosin-Nagant look alike... I still need some parts to complete it however.

I made an M1A1 (Paratrooper M1 Carbine) look alike out of a Ruger 10/22 and a Sarco Inc. reproduction stock..

I'm a big fan of these kinds of .22s too.. too bad all the nice ones are prohibited. Even if you have the licence, storage and transport are a pain.
