Looking for Ruger Scout Mags...

I'm trying to locate 5 round polymer mags for my Ruger GSR. Brownells only has the 10's at the moment. Does anyone know a Canadian dealer that has them in stock?

Can't help with the mags, but interested in how you like your rifle? I bought a ruger american and may have to switch it out with cabellas this coming weekend. Having bolt pop-out prblems.

Sorry no, but if you watch Brownells closely you'll find that one time they're in stock & the next not, then in again & so on. They go fast and even if you do see them listed as in stock & buy them, you still might not get any as there's God knows how many orders ahead of you waiting to be filled. Sucks, but it might be your best bet to just keep trying. I eventually got a couple there but ended up getting some more on fleabay. Sadly, there's no 5's available there at the moment either.

Thanks for the reply, I'll keep trying. Talon, so far I like the rifle but just picked it up today, a LH version. The gun has a great feel to it, and tomorrow morning I'll heat her up a bit and see how she shoots.

I LOVE my Scout, just got me a nice big Doe whitetail a few days ago - the thing is SUPER balanced and shoots WICKED accurate (shooting out to 200 yards its an EASY kill. - I mean REALLY easy - and I Love my back-up Iron sights, I can hit 6"-10" gongs at 200 yards with the irons without a question. The magasine makes the rifle even better - easy to load and unload if nothing there.

I'd give the rifle an 8/10 (only an 8 because integrated bipod & the M77 bolt - I like the bolt, but would be great if it had my 7mm Rem Mag bolt , now THATS smooth).

Thanks Coho, Still interested in how you like it Piperdown. Have a freind who just picked one up as well, goin to heat her up friday. Really disappointed with my american. Doesn't do it all the time but 2 out of 5 times I pull the bolt back it pops right out of the gun. Scared I will lose some teeth if hunting for real.lol. Will see what cabellas gives for an answer. The GSR only comes in 308 right?
