Plus all firearm manufacturers will provide free firearm manual downloads on their site and if not listed they will mail you one to your home. It's a policy as manufacturers don't want a law suit in case you get hurt as a result of not having the instruction manual (owner's manual),nice society we live in today isn't?,LOL.

I wanted to see the differances between AR15 and the AR180B, mostly the upper receiver group.
How about I just tell you: everything.

Construction, dimensions (it's longer), material used, bolt, bolt carrier, recoil spring system, method of locking the upper closed, etc. Everything is different.

Not every thing.the lowers use alot of the same parts as AR15s.
But you were asking about the upper.

Also, the lowers don't really use that many common parts. Only the trigger, hammer, their respective pins, and the mag catch. The AR180B lower is also slightly longer, as is the upper. I'll try to find the comparison picture I have.

Found it:

The AR180 design is, in my opinon, one of the best operating systems around. It is simple, reliable, and ALWAYS works. I have numerous project ides in the works based on the AR180 concept. Some of those ideas include a bullpup lower that accepts the stock AR180B uppers. A sheet metal lower like the origonal AR18 but tweaked for AR15 mags, grips, etc. I'm also thinking of doing a .308 AR18 type rifle that uses M14 mags. Plus some other projects I'll keep tot myself.

Don't hold your breath for them, it will be a year or two before any see the light of day.

There is a Canadian guy on Gunbroker.com that sells AR180 blueprints for US$11.00.

Here is his blurb from the site:
Are you tired of paying for templates that come straight off of a free site like Biggerhammer? Try my computer drawn dimensional receiver blueprint for the original sheet-metal receiver AR-180, but with a twist. This plan doesn't use the troublesome original trigger and hammer, but utilises the AR-15 trigger, hammer and mag release! Views include the receiver top, bottom and side as well as all dimensions. Also included are the upper receiver details, plus the bolt and gas system.**Now re-drawn to 8 pages at full scale**

Sorry to hijack:redface:
Does anyone have any info (links) regarding any AR 47 upper prints (CAD, SolidW, blueprints, whatever)? I'm interested in what is different from the AR 15 upper (bolt-face, bolt, bolt-carrier, maybe case???, etc.)
Thanx:)
