Looking for some Bulk NC 7.62 X 39.

Potassium Chloride (the salt created when firing corrosive ammo) is PH neutral. Salts are water soluble though, so really that should be the focus, dissolve, not neutralize. Diluted ballistol is good, not because it neutralizes anything (it would if there was something to neutralize, it IS alkaline), but because the water dissolves the salts while the ballistol protects the gun from the harmful effects of the water. For the longest time I thought the corrosive salts were acidic, because there is a lot of talk about neutralizing them on the internet, but that is not the case.

Ballistol is also a disinfectant, so if you get slide bite at the range or cut yourself at hunt camp you're good to go if you've ballistol! lol

Saw a dude on youtube mixing some cutting oil with the water.

Do those USA complaints mention if the headstamp is PPU ? And I've shot a lot of PPU (hundreds) in my 223 and 308 with NO probs with corrosion. I've found Chinese MS is accurate enough for plinking at 100 or less, then just flush the barrel with Hot Water, dry and clean normally. I shot a box of 5-year old Barnaul x39 and 10 rounds of chinese, let it sit for 4-days and NO issues there either. Extra 10 minutes to get all the filthy Carbon out of the barrel of my Ranch x39 and clost to 1.5-MOA with both out to 175 . . . .

Nobody in the stuff I was reading was talking about it being corrosive. Just that it was repackaged PPU.

A few bought some that was small rifle primed Win headstamped then bought more and it was large rifle primed PPU headstamped.

I guess they were mad because they paid Winchester price and got PPU that sells for less than the Winchester x39

Edited to add: Apparently doing the same with their 9MM white box. Reboxing Igman 9mm.
