the DAA dvds are nice. THe 2007 Limited 10 and Open nationals set has a Tactics DVD,..you can watch the first one of the action, then watch the 2nd DVD to see how and why and what worked out for the different plans of action.
Before watching any videos I'd recommend to take the Black Badge course. It will teach the basics of safe gun handling. Especially for the purpose of action shooting sports.
Another great DVD that covers all the fundamental techniques from the draw to reloading to shooting on the move is "IPSC Secrets" available on the Brian Enos website. For books, my favorite is "Practical Shooting, Beyond Fundamentals" by Brian Enos. Despite the title, it also goes into detail about the basic fundamentals.
