Looking at this scope. Seems to have a lot of great features for the money. Anyone have experience with it? Sound off please.

Have one on a 1885 270win. Seems very good. Mine has a stiff magnification ring made manageable by a knurling/knob.

Burris is considered a rather low end, or plain Jane "Chevrolet " level optic. Believe the veracity was/is(?) their flagship. Nice clear glass, 5x mag range considerably cheaper than say vx5 for example.

Good glass for the money. Not my choice, there would probably be better, for a target scope. Long range hunting, rig. Certainly wouldn't be considered lightweight.

I put one on my Bergara B-14 LH Carbon Trainer in 22LR.
It is performing very well so far. This is my first FFP scope, so it does take a little use to get used to it if you have only used SFP scopes to date, as I have.
The parallax adjustment only goes down to 50 yards, which is fine for a centerfire rifle or if mostly shooting longer distances with a 22LR as I am with this rifle.
Once I get out to 100 yards plus (200-300 yards), we'll see if I should have opted for the higher magnification range (4-20 or 5-25), or if I will still be happy with 15 power.

The scope is bright and clear, but I have not shot it much in low light conditions...just some cloud so far, and bright sunny days.
The mag adjustment ring is smooth to turn, and the adjustments have been performing reliably so far.
The reticle is such that I can see the fine lines on the 50 yard targets so far...will be working on 100 yard testing next with the various types of match ammo I have on hand.

I am not a fan of larger objective scopes (have 44mm and smaller on my hunting rifles), but since this is a dedicated target rifle weight and size wasn't as big an issue, and this is the only 50mm scope I currently own. I do like that they have a good warranty. Hopefully I will not have to use it. Have read good reviews for those who have had to use Burris' warranty service, so shouldn't be an issue.

I read an article where the Veracity was tested for tracking and it performed magnificently.

I had both a Veracity and an XTR II and the Veracity had better glass. It was brighter and had fewer aberrations.
