Looking for someone to remove an sks barrel

Hi I’m looking for someone to remove a barrel from an sks receiver.Barrel is new so was the receiver but someone ground the receiver to fit it,poorly to a stock.Oh bubba why?Let me know.Dave

Is your barrel pressed into the receiver or threaded?

You should look on the internet to see the difference, lots of pics.

Then you might have more luck getting the barrel removed.

One requires a press and the other requires a vice and wrench

The problem will be aligning the barrel with a new receiver. You need to ask yourself if the cost of the work is worthwhile for a ca. $500 rifle? Maybe just sell that one off and get a different rifle.
