Looking for SP-01 Shadow

Why not a CZ85 Combat? Similar, with no firing pin block and adjustable rear sight. Also, fully ambi, which is why I'm looking at it.

It's a possibility. I've still got some questions, though, as well as figuring out the most economic solution.

Is that Shadow fit or tuned better for accuracy than the 85C?

If not then I'm looking at either a Shadow plus possibly a target sight

Or an 85c plus basement gunsmithing OR a new hammer and possibly a sear which brings it beyond the cost of the Shadow

In the end it's probably a wash.

I should probably just learn to like that fugly full length dust cover and admit that it lends some stability to the muzzle...

I'd be interested in some info on the differences between the two as well. One or the other is likely to be my next purchase. I prefer the look of the 85 Combat too.

Al Flaherty's has the Combat on for $810. I think the Shadow has a reduced recoil spring and has a fibre optic front sight versus the combat.

I saw that, but it was in store only. Great price though. I don't mind being patient and waiting for a deal.

They also had an online sale after the in store only sale was over. I believe it went from 6pm Saturday - Sunday 11:59pm. ... Great sale, hope they do the online sale again this year.

I picked up a GP-100 and the net cost was far less than you see them selling for used. That was an awesome sale.

This is the pistol I grabbed in the online sale for 699, 13 mins after the sale began.. Considering the website kept crashing and I had to make a new account, I consider myself lucky.
I added the grips from select shooting supplies after the fact.Once the weather gets into the high teens, it will be going to the range.

Shipment just arrived today and should be received and ready to sell next week. I also unpacked SP01 Orange, Tactical's and both silver and Black Canadians.
Don't forget to subscribe to the Wolverine newsletter, a little bird told me that there might just be a "Wolverine Virtual Coupon" in there for $50.00 off certain CZ product.
Subscribe on the Wolverine Supplies homepage and the newsletter will be coming out at the start of March.

Just curious.... I signed up for the email subscription but never got any Coupon code with my confirmation email... Is that going to come in a different email?

Great site BTW!

Got one, super good shooter. Shoots both cast and jacketed loads well. Trigger needs a little work, but actually is gradually getting a little better with use or maybe I'm just use to it now!
