Looking for Speedfeed Stocks

good luck lots of people say they sell them but can only order them once a year, or crap to the same point..I wish people would carry what they advertise or at least be able to get it in 2 weeks? maybe thats alot to ask but I have wanted a iv-s stock set for my win.1300 for 9 months now. I have called all the places recomended on this site but they can't get it or they are backordered.....If i do get one this week from a guy i know I will pm you.

Brownell's.

According to Brownell's International Section, if it's under US$100, and a gun part, you don't need an import/export permit.

I got really tired of trying to find a SpeedFeed Youth model (13") length of pull butt for my 870 Police. Nobody, including M.D. Charlton, Wholsale Sports, P&D, etc seemed to have any in stock in Canada.

Brownell's has lots. US$92.60 plus US$14.00 Air mail, and it's on it's way. I don't know if this works out to more than one would pay for it in Canada, but if I can get it right away, I'm happy to pay extra.

And they have your SpeedFeed I magazine stock in stock, too.

P&D don't have the Youth models, though, which is really what most people should probably be using, anyway. Much faster to mount, plenty long enough, and more comfortable to shoot.

Even at 6'2" and a 35" sleeve, I find the normal 14" l.o.p. too long for all but a very few giraffe's among us.

I dunno... I find the the speedfeed stock fine...Ive had some short people shoot it with no complaints. There also a short model for body armour. I shopped at PD and had great service there.

The discussions on LOP are interesting, I am 5' 11" and 200 lbs and have shortened all of my personal shotguns (and most of my rifles).
I have a SF-1 at work that I hate because of the length and also it is not set up for southpaw shooting. I find that the shortened ones shoulder much more quickly and don't seem to hang up when you have extra thick clothing or other'stuff' on.
I was recently loooking for a SF IV-S, all the places mentioned above can get them but none seem to carry them in stock

Cheers

btw, out of interest...who makes the speedfeed recoil pad? is it just some sort of generic pad? Its non ventilated, but I was impressed on how it handles the biggie 3 inch slugs..its nice.

I purchased a Law Enforcment short length of pull stock from Wolverine Supplies. Wilwagspal also has the line of short length of pull Speedfeed stocks.
