looking for sr9, who's got the best price?

Frontier looks OK, $489 with 2% off for EMT, 5% tax and flat $15 shipping. There is a cheaper shop here in QC, but I would be paying the full 15%QST + shipping so ends up costing me more then buying out of province. I'm after the blued version, only like stainless for revolvers :)

more importantly is who actually has them to sell

Kind of an aside but Prophet River's website is really good. If the photo is up, it's in stock. Fella that runs the place, Clay, is super fast at responding to emails as well. I haven't purchased from there yet but plan to.

No sr9s in stock though.

They must have sold out now...nothing listed, or maybe Im missing them???

P&D ( has stock)but is the highest priced and will not match competitors, emailed them and they said no dice. Itailian Sports has the blued ones in stock for $469. I prefer to support our board sponsors but come on..over $60 difference??

Cheers!!

And if you buy one used you might save $100....... it's a pretty cheap gun for what you get. I've never seen one priced used for less then $400 and $450 shipped is probably typical asking price.

So all the places with good prices are sold out......fun times:)
I'm not that anal though that I will only bite at $430. It has to be reasonable though. Ruger took a 5% hike in the last month or so, but that shouldn't mean %25 here in Canada!

I think once these pistols are over the $500 mark they no longer have the appeal when they are sub $500. You see the ones that are in stock are guys selling at the inflated $530 price....they can have em, its not that nice of a gun. They are great at $439-469 IMHO

I bought one today $439 to my door but was a demo model.

Cheers!!

Yeah I pretty much agree. If you can land one for under $500 to your door, not a bad piece. That's pretty much the driving factor in me looking to pick one up. Wanted a lower priced modern 9mm that I could beat the #### out of...that wasn't a 1911. Got too many of those already :) I shot Glocks, and they are OK for what they are, but the markup on them is wayyyy too much that I would hate myself for throwing down cash for it. I also don't own ANY double stack pistols at all...it was a close call between this and the Girsan, but it hasn't been around here long enough for me to trust them yet.

$530 isn't an inflated price, it's the going price and I doubt that it wil discourage sales of these. There are still lots of people lined up to buy these. They are good quality, reliable pistols.

$530 makes them pretty close to $600 landed, and is way too much for cast metal and plastic IMHO. I wouldn't bite at that price and would pass for an M&P instead.
