My father manufactures bullets with swage presses, just wondering if there is any members on here who also manufacture bullets through the same process? Looking to share information and tips and get him involved in the forms! Thanks guys!

Those are very nice.

I am not a CGN member, and so it would seem, have minimal ability to post pictures.

I forgot the requisites for that. Just register at postimage org.

Once your picture is on their website, you'll just have to click on
pic.png
in the Advanced Composer of cgn and paste postimg's "Direct Link".

I swage .22'S 358's and 430"s I use comercial jackets when I can find them otherwise, I use .22 RF for the .224 stuff, .30M-1 for the 38 stuff and .40 S&W for the .44 cal stuff. My presses are RCBS Rock Chuckers.

need the design on dies, new ones cost too much, need to make my own

Dig around and you should be able to find a 30+ pages .pdf file with pretty close to all the info you might need.

Making the dies is easy. Making them come out round, smooth, and on size, is where the art happens.

Take a good look at the available replaceable drill bushings, used in jigs for repeatedly drilling bathes of holes in various parts. They are available in steel or carbide, in sizes accurate beyond most home shop guys ability to measure, and are pretty cheap, for what you get.

Interesting . Im curious about making benchrest quality 30cal bullets . Where does a person source the lead wire they use for making cores?

Hi,
Members is a great idea.
Been doing this since around 2001.
Living south of Hanna Alberta, working about an hour and bit from med hat.
I stay to myself in quiet area; enjoy as a hobby and education.
May I ask what you and pa are cooking up mostly and interests?
