Looking for Swedish 1896 Mauser (M96)

Thanks buddy for the quick info. Non-matching is not good....

I found some in Simpson Ltd, one US dealer, and they are willing to ship/export to Canada, and the procedure cost bloody over $1k, beside the price of the rifle ($550).

Hi, Doug

Thanks for your offer. How should I reach you? my email is: jeanlikethis@yahoo.com.

All the best.

Hi Guys .. :)

Sorry for the confusion, as this forum isn't appropriate for sales discussions.... ;)

I think most everyone here is aware that I'm working through my entire collection, selling everything off direct before what's left goes to auction.

I actually have to dig through my vault and check on the pieces mentioned.

Please take the discussion off-line and contact me at badger@milsurps.com.

Regards,
Doug

Keep frequenting the Gun Shows. Right now, there are usually a half-dozen or so at a larger show. Just take a bit of time and one will come your way, sooner or later.

The days of large shipments of Swedish Military rifles are pretty well over. The carbines started in the late 1950s, the rifles in the 1970s and most of the remainder in the last 10 years. The supply is beginning to dry up, and people are starting to realize just how good these rifles are.

I would not but one in the States. They are a lot more expensive, and VERY expensive to import. You can find better buys in Canada if you put a bit of effort into it.

Thanks, they do offer the pic. How was your experience dealing with them?

He is good to deal with. As with any purchase, ask as many questions as you can. He describes his firearms to NRA standards (which are listed on his site) so that you get a much better idea what the condition is.
