What you are looking for is a Remington Speedmaster. Not going to be as cheap as the 10/22 but mine will eat anything. Only drawback is the tubular magazine isn't as convenient as a detachable magazine for reloading quickly.

I find that my tube fed 22's feed more reliably than detachable magazine rifles.
++ on the Speedmaster. I think it is the only semi that feeds long rifle, long and shorts interchangeably (even mixed). It uses a sort of 'gas recoil' system rather than a straight blowback system like other semis.

Perhaps a Cooey model 60 or 600? Doesn't do well with high velocity ammunition such as Velocitor or Stinger, but shoots most others well. Works well with CCI short and particularly with CCI short hollow points, which are higher velocity.

I used to shoot a lot of shorts as a low noise option,
I mainly used a single shot because nothing I had would cycle them very good.
Until I found out about CCI quiet .22 they are great! They are Long rifle size so they feed in anything, except they don’t have the snap to run a semi, and I found to be accurate enough at 20-25 yards kinda thing to suit my needs. Much better accuracy than CCI CB longs, I believe the velocity is the same as most shorts
Try these and you might rethink using shorts

Try these and you might rethink using shorts
Two of my .22's spit lead out through the safety port when running shorts, could go in and chamfer the edges but running longs instead
Have heard this from others too, so might want to check for spray
quiet longs are not any noisier than shorts, so shorts have no redeeming value imho
