Hey Guys;

I have looked unsuccessfully for the RCMP Bulletin on 10+ round Ruger 10/22 magazines.

IIRC it outlined how an RCMP member was to handle the situation, noting that it was specifically a 'no case seizure'...

Anyone happen to have a copy? Thanks in advance.

Cheers
Jay

So basically an internal memo about another internal memo offering an internal RCMP decision on something they are not authorized to enforce! Sounds like good policing to me.

I was not sent one of these ( registered mail ) so its nothing but "fake news" and doesn't apply to me as far as iam concerned

As far as I know this is not in the firearms act, which states rimfire magazines can have UNLIMITED CAPACITY

Pistol rimfires are limited to ten rds. Ruger's 10/22 rifle, and it's Charger pistol take the same magazines.

So lets say i get caught with a butler creek mag un pinned. I get a warning an 30 days to pin it? No charge or seizure ?

It's ultimately at the discretion of the officer, which is the problem here. Standalone charges are not recommended, but still possible. And then you have to go through the whole process of proving your innocence, which is ass backwards.

So the rcmp intentionally approved the Challenger pistol to throw a wrench into the works? Or they are just incompetent???

Lol I'm pretty sure it's the second one.

haha Facts! I remember how fun that GSG 110rnder is..err was, almost as bad as pop riveting an AK drum mag. Stupidity!
