I am not sure where to post this, did a search with no results so here we go. I have a Savage 24 with what looks like 11mm groves but none of the rings I have on my 22's will clamp the 22 barrel, the rings are milled flat inside the clamping parts or blades of the rings. See lots of pictures but no part numbers, any help appreciated! Looking to mount a red dot.

Call the Savage 1-800 # from their webpage and someone will help you out. Called them a # of years ago about a part for my Savage 24 and the rep was a really nice guy who BS'd with me for a bit after telling what I needed to know.

If your rings have some extra meat you could show them some love with a rat-tail file. I put a peep sight on my 24 and had to shave some metal off the bottom.
