I am looking for somewhere that's good at working on 1911s. I have a norinco 1911a1 that i only bought because its 2 tone. i wanna do it up for a race gun. new hammer, trigger group, and such. but i need a place that can mill the mag well first. many of you probably know that norcs are bad for their mag wells being tight. i like the mag well on my sam, loose enough that when i hit the mag release the mag goes flying. If your going to post on this subject please send me a pm also as i don't always check on my threads

Frame work on the 2 tone gun is going to be difficult - to get to the steel underneath, the hard chrome is going to have to be stripped and re-plated. As mentioned above, Casey at TacOrd, or Roger at Dark International are the two guys east of Manitoba to go to.
