Hey,

Im looking for a BLACK (not aluminium grey) folding stock any leads would be appreciated. If anyone has one id be glad to buy it off you if the price is right.

Heck no I actually found some on ebay for like 60 bucks shipped but they had some wear on them and were aluminium. But I refuse to pay even 60 for a piece of steel that costs 5 bucks to make.

Didn't Dlask get a large shipment of VZ parts? If they have a CZ model it'll be the ugly dark blue colour, but you can always coat it somewhere.

I thought you wanted wood? I hated my folding stock as I couldn't get comfortable shooting it (no cheek weld, uncomfortable at the shoulder). Sold it on the EE for $60 shipped a few years back. A wood buttstock just feels perfect to me, nothing else compares.

$60 for a used stock isn't bad... just spray paint it black - done. Whats bad is the $70 price tag on the CSA side rail. An item that should have been included in the gun box. Especially because you need it to mount the side mount on. So your getting screwed into paying twice for one item basically.

To this day, that really pisses me right off. Maybe it wouldn't if I hadn't bought the gun. A great gun but still about $400 overpriced and they couldn't put a f__king little piece of steal in the gun box or include it in the side mount package. I feel ripped off. Like a piece of my gun is being held hostage for an extra $70. Every time I see someone on here give in and buy it, it pisses me off too. Like WTF!!!:mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:

Hard to beat the Zahal folders. Adjustable cheek piece. Don't freeze your face to them in the cold weather. Longer length of pull. Good traction on that recoil pad.

The metal ones are indeed solid - for the most part. I have heard of guys having wobbly ones, but the ones I had have been rock solid. In fact I did a little filing on them to make them a little bit easier to fold.

Sigh...I gave in last week.

You should shoot CSA an e-mail and explain your disappointment that you had to pay twice because their scope mount comes incomplete. They will point the finger at North Sylvia.

I might just do that. Perhaps future Vz owners may benefit.

Tell them that you are not a cow and you don't like appreciate being milked.

Oh my, I knew this woman once who would...well, that's a story for another time.
