Looking for1/2-28 thread adapter for mk22

Update, the thread on the inside of the barrel shroud is actually m16x1 not m14x1 as google states.
I have ordered a die for the m16x1 thread as my lathe does not turn metric threads. 2 weeks delivery on the die. Then I will wip a few of these up for anyone that wants them. As a side note, the barrel is 12mm. I thought I would be able to just thread the end of the barrel 1/2-28 but I did a test piece and the threads ended up way to shallow. So it looks like this adapter is the only option.

Will do, I have all my jigs made up and just waiting on the m16x1 die. It was 2 weeks delivery, almost 2 weeks ago, so could be any day now. Although due to price I ordered it off of ebay, 12 dollars, opposed to 89 dollars, so it could still be a while.
 
Yikes, ebay is a pain for shipping. I've waited up to 2 months to see things coming in. But to save almost 80 bucks I don't blame you!

I've ordered lots of taps and dies from this company before. usually only 2 weeks. I have also used KBC tools, but they have a minimum order for shipping, and it usually takes a week from them anyway. I was in the shop all day yesterday, and missed a parcel, I have a feeling it is the m16x1 die! If so........

Amazing!! PM has been sent, this is what i've been looking for and ordering from the states is a bit of a pain these days. Please post pics up of what the final product looks like, perhaps after it's been blued as well?
 
Well, my adapter came in today! It fits a standard AR Flash hider without any issues. Personally I wanted it to shorten up the barrel, so once I find a thread protector, It will have shortened my length by about an inch. Pictures are attached below.

I'm also either going to get it anodized or spray it flat black with something probably texturized.

Last picture gives you an idea of total length before and after the adapter. Huge thanks to willisworms, he did me great and I'm very happy with the finished product. If you're an MK22 owner, this is a recommended part to give you more freedom of choice!
 
glad you like it. I wish I had a home anodizing set-up, but from the research I have done it does not seem doable.If you have trouble finding a thread protector let me know and I will turn you one. Any one else wants one,I have a few more available. For anyone wondering,The length of this thing is pre determined by issc. After you remove the flash hider,The barrel sticks out past the shroud 7/8" of an inch. Since the flash hider supports the barrel, and that the 1/2 28 thread is a micron larger than the barrel, this is what we get.
