Bought my 1st .30 air rifle last October to compliment my .25 Condor. After seeing 4 other Snow Peak shooters in our Airgun Club decided it was a decent PCP costing 1/3 of the European air guns. I ordered my M60B from Wes at Airgun Archery Fun, upgraded to a 500cc carbon fiber tank, .30, and porting.

I have made the following modifications:

1. C88 35cc side plenum.
2. Plenum bracket.
3. Adjustable butt plate.
4. Cheek riser.
5. Tank end cap.
6. Adjustable monopod.
7. Green laser for close 25 yard shots (gophers).
8. Athlon 6x24 scope/rings.
9. Sling.
10. Pistol grip.
11. Bipod/rail.

Provided my M60B to Napoleon-Blownapart on the Canadian Airgun Forum to design and protype the plenum bracket, butt plate, cheek riser, end cap, so any feedback would be appreciated.

Just cannot get over the power of the .30 pellets/slugs, 48 grain pellets with my regulator turned down (recently) has settled in at 920 fps with 35 shots on the reg.

And some pics.

Thanks

randyhub that looks awesome!
I've been looking into PCPs recently and am a little overwhelmed with all the "equipment". I might start off with a PCP pistol that can be hand pumped and see where the journey takes me.

Any experience with a Snow Peak PP700Sa and an inexpensive hand pump?

I just recently started swimming in the PCP pool. Unbelievable accuracy and power. I love the ability for making it appropriate for different purposes simply with changing projectile weights and muzzle velocity! I have an AirArms S410XL in 22 shooting pellets at 848fps producing itty bitty groups with Barracuda Match 21.14gr. I have a FX Panthera also in 22 with a 700mm barrel for shooting slugs. Extremely accurate and capable at long distance. Both would make awesome gopher guns for sure. I can’t believe how much fun it is.IMG_3263.jpeg

I have a few PCPs and a Vevor handpump. I have a Snow Peak PP700 as well in .177. Fantastic pistol, super accurate and very easy to handpump. Only single shot, but very fun to shoot. I have a red dot on mine.

I believe we have the same Vevor handpump (as per another thread) which works great. Thanks for the input on the Snowpeak PP700SA.
Can't decide if I want the .22 or .177 version. I'm planning on retiring an old 1322 (rather than spending too much time rebuilding it) so have a few tins of .22 pellets. However, .177 makes more sense to share pellets with my Reximex Zone.
I prefer the simplicity of the single shot and the loading process of the PP700SA. I have a spare Vortex SparcII RD that needs a home :)......

Where did you get yours from?

I bought mine second hand, it came with a red dot.
