Just started with a plain jane ruger this spring and thought that was enough but with this whole interweb thing my 260$ gun has turned into 1200$ with the whole barrels stocks and triggers and such. I've been reading all your post for month now and i am at about page 70 by now. Its all your guys fault that this .22 has become so much fun and all you owe me money. Me and the boy had a blast this summer and im gonna take this city thing out of him if it takes me every weekend.

Hahahahahahabwhahahahaha.........hasbro caught the buuhuhuga.........whooooooooooot.
Best you git yerself another job too..........tee heeeeee

I read and hear that more and more, rugers are the Honda civics of .22s. IMO if you're going to spend a crazy amount on a .22. Don't buy and upgrade, just simply buy a better gun from the get go. When you upgrade parts, the chances of mistakes increases. Atleast if you buy a Valquartsen or other expensive gun, you have a warranty. That being said, atleast you're having a blast, spending time with your kids and shooting cheap ammo!!
Could be worse, a round could cost you 28 cents or more like .223
