Looking into semi auto in larger caliber

Just looking at my options for a semi auto in a big game caliber. Thinking 308/300 win mag. or maybe larger. Only issue is i have a soft shoulder for a big guy. I do not enjoy a hard hit so I am looking at a semi with a brake maybe??

Looking for opinions and options fellas and ladies. I am looking at the EE right now and supporting sponsers for ideas so fire away.

Being a semi, the action utilizes a portion of the recoil to cycle. A 30-06 or 308 should be quite tolerable. Find a friend with one, and try it, before you make a purchase. Good luck.

I have a remington semi in 30-06 and recoil is quite manageable, and it has been a very reliable rifle.

My buddy sold his RFB due to accuracy issues. If it cannot do 2 inches at 100 yards then it is not the gun for me.

I miss my old M14 but at 14 lbs it was too heavy for the 5am walk into the bush.

I was looking at this gun again, I had an early model without the recoil compensation kit and the 300 stung a bit after 25-30 shots. Maybe with the recoil kit from Benelli it would be better? Do you own one??
