I am having feeding issues with my reloads, I use 4.1g bullseye 125g bullet, the OAL I had was 1.12, if anyone has a better receipe would appreciate it

I just went and measured some BDX reloads I use. The 124gr was 1.120" and the 147gr was 1.135". Both of these feed and function 100% in my 9's, including a Norc NP-29 1911.

My 124 gr jacketed and 125gr cast OAL is 1.40". My manual says 1.20 but mine function fine at 1.40.

OP, Your reloads may be seated a little too deep.

Like Mark above, they run fine in my norc NP 28, m213, and the jacketed ones in my Glock 17.

+1 on it being a bit on the deep side.

I load 4.1 of titegroup with 124grs, OAL 1.140 and have never experienced any feeding issues (STI Spartan)

Having said that, each gun is a world by itself, so YMMV.

Also, did you try different magazines?

Cactus: that's a LONG round you are loading!!!! Sure it isn't 1.140... ? ;)

I think this is mostly a magazine issue. That 1911 will feed cartridges with lengths up to around 1.28" like the 9x23 and .38 Super (with some parts changes, of course).

What 125g bullet is it - brand, shape?
What magazines are you using? Do they have spacers in the back or not?
Is it an original colt - unramped barrel or a ramped barrelled gun?

Sorry for responding to a question with a question, but with this extra information it will be a lot easier to help you.
