Looking to build something unique... Ideas?

I've got 3 AR's already. 10.5" RRA Pistol, 24" RRA Varmint, and a polymer frame with 16" .22 upper.

I'm looking to build one more, probably with an STI matched upper and lower. Lets hear some ideas or see guns that you've built that are a little off the beaten path. I want to do something a little different this time! Maybe something like a 7.62 conversion, don't know much about those though...

Maybe an old school 20" barrel, carry handle, smooth side upper and go hunt VC, or just a flat top. In either case I'd go for a light 20" barrel, purpose built for standing and pointing.

Another option: ADCOR upper and build a real nice ambi lower

Once I've wrapped up my other gun projects I plan on making a 20" full retard zombie C7.

Build something in .50 Beowulf or .458 SOCOM

I plan to do a .458 within the next year. I'm sure it will be a nightmare to source the parts though.

I think that a 20" 300 whisper/blk build would be the "bees knees".

But then I also think slick side uppers are where it's at.........
