Looking to buy a 1911......Suggestions

I have a buddy who has a $2000.00 Sprinfield and it is a super accurate gun and very nice to hold and of great quality, but it has come quite loose and my fathers Kimber Tactical Custom II after several thousand rounds is still as tight as it was the day it came off the line, as is the case with my TLE II. As for as I am concerned, the TLE II is the best 1911 for the $$$ on the market, and it was my 7th 1911, but this is just an opinion, Springfield, S&W, Kimber they are all good guns as is the case with PARA. Buy one of each and you will be most happy!

I was fortunate that before I actually decided on a '1911' type pistol,
I had the opportunity to 'audition' several different kinds at our club.

There were Colts, Springfields, Norincos, Kimbers, and others. It was the Kimber that was the overall winner. I own a Para as well, but from an overall point of view , the kimber is definitely the winner.
