wanting to buy a small bore silhoette rifle for my son either bolt action like cz452 or semi auto like a 10/22.we both don't know nothing about the sport but wanting to try it together.does any body have any complete rifles for sale or point us in the right direction. thanks very much for any help

The best thing that you could do would be to go to a local match and see what everyone there is using and can tell you. Bring whatever .22s you might have and they may let you join in an informal way to see what its all about.
They may have some good good advice or even some used rifles that they can sell you and you would be able to test it out before buying. At the very least you will be able to see what the different rifles that people talk about look like in person.

I shot small bore silhouette with a CZ 452 LUX with ajustable front and rear sights. I used it with a scope for the scope class first, then i would take the scope off and shoot the iron sight class.
After the shoot was over i would run the rear sight up to the 200 meter setting and shoot the chickens off the rail on the centerfire range, much to the amazment of the other shooters.

The guy has a whopping post count of 1. Obviously he's new. Maybe a polite guidance minus the "where it's supposed to go" and "like the rest of us" would be a bit more helpful.

The CZ Ultra Lux (right out of the box) would be a good place to start. Love the trigger and sights on that gun.
Don't pay too much attention to prairieguy's comment, he is just a little ticked off, like the rest of use in MB, with all the white stuff we've been getting lately. Makes it real hard to find the rabbits.
