So I bought an older 10/22 with a metal trigger group and I really don't like the mag release. When pressing it my fat fingers get in the way of the mag dropping out and I have to use two hands to get the mag out. I did some googling and found endless custom options but they were all American dealers and I don't think I can have that shipped to Canada. Midwayusa had the ones I liked the most. I don't want one of those long ones that wrap the trigger guard, I want one like my SR22 in either poly or black anodized aluminum. I checked some of the sponsors above but cant seem to find much of a selection, anyone know where to get them? Also the one I want from Midway is $6 (its poly though and id prefer aluminum) but as long as it was under $20 and I could get it local I would be happy.

I swapped out my sr22's mag release for a Promag 10/22 extended mag release available at hical for $20. Or, if you want, send me a pm and I can send you my sr22's original mag release - I'm pretty sure i have it in my parts box. I'm not local , but if you don't mind waiting a few days, it's yours.
