I'm looking to get a decent chronograph. Plan is to use it outdoors, at what're going to be mostly informal ranges, winter as well summer. Looking for something pretty rugged and portable. Anybody care to share recommendations, experiences, advise as to vendors, etc.?

Thanks!

I dunno about rugged, but the CED M2 was tested by Brian Litz and found to be as good as an Oehler. If you buy the bag that's made for it, it should survive any reasonable transportation handling.

CED M2 or Pro-Chrono Digital. This opinion is based off of reviews and opinions that I've heard and read. I've got a Pro-Chrono Digital on its way to me, and it should show up tomorrow, so I'll be able to compare it to my Chrony F1 at that time.

X2 on the Pro-Chrony. Can't say anything bad about the others. But when i was doing my research on which one to get, the Pro Chrony seemed to be the best for a reasonable price. I have used it many times now and it has been flawless. Nice feature that I plan on adding is the computer attachment kit where you can run it from a laptop and keep all your data organized directly after shooting.
