Looking to join in on some SW Ontario waterfowl hunting.

I'd like to get into waterfowling, and would like to join in with someone this season who would be willing to show me how it's done. I'm experienced with grouse/deer/moose hunting, but ducks and geese are new to me. I'm patient, safe, easy to get along with, and can shoot. If anyone would like to take me along on any hunts within a reasonable distance of Kitchener, I would sincerely appreciate it.

I'm not to far from you and I have all the gear that is needed. Do some scouting, if you come up with a good field full of ducks, geese or both get permission and pm me. I'll gladly haul my gear to you and show you how it's done!

Thats the thing with waterfowl. Unless you can find some good holes on some local rivers that are accessible by canoe or do hours and hours of scouting and trying to get good fields to hunt on, it is very hard to get in on.

You can head to public waterfowl units like long point and play the lottery.

It seems to me in southern Ontario the few guides that do hunts down here have most of the fields secured that have good opportunity.
