It's time to scope my A-bolt 22.

I was looking at putting on a Leupold base (I prefer the one piece) and a Bushnell Banner 3 X 9.
That's the set up I have on my BAR-22 and it works good.

I just wanted some thoughts as I scoped my BAR quite a while ago and there's lots of new stuff on the market.

Any better or different recommendations?
What's working good for everyone else?
Thanks,

You should consider a Weaver 2-7 Rimfire. Very nice scope for the money.

I have one of those scopes on my 10/22 and love it for everything BUT...When the power is turned up past 5 the field of view is so narrow that it is some times hard to find a gopher 35 yards and closer. If I had to do it again I would look for a wider field of view... Leupold maybe?...

Good to know. Clear optics though.

Optics are great! The adjustments are very repeatable too. you can make the "square" every time. Four up, four left four down and four right ALWAYS bring you back to where you started.
This gun and scope have been together for a long time and seen tens of thousands of rounds. This was my pick up gun on the farm, so it has also seen a lot of bouncing on the dash/ seat/floor of the truck.
Scope is still perfect!

I'm not sure Leupold makes a one piece base for the Abolt-22... I got the Browning 2 pieces base. They are ok, but I wish they were recess to hide the dove tail.

My ABolt is no 100Y take driver, so no need for a high power scope ;) 1.5x5 does it.

Safe shopping!
