Looking to Tacticool an 870, Advice?

So I'm thinking of tacticooling one of my 870's as I have a few with some FDE Magpul furniture. I know they sell these but seems like a waste of money if I already have one I'm willing to modify. How would I go about making the barrel shorter, or can I? Any idea where to buy these shorter barrels? Looking to do something similar to the one below to match the collection: Any thoughts?

Hey, those look strangely familiar, lol! Got the barrel from Canada Ammo, 12.5in Norinco barrel. Fit perfectly into the Remington receiver.

I wish Magpul made an FDE pistol grip stock. That would kick ass.
For shorter barrels, try Dlask, or Norinco Grizzly barrels.

many of the dealers inc us will have factory rem 870 14inch bbls soon, a build like that is just a parts swap, nothing complex.

Try to get the flash hider off of a Norinco M305 Tanker... I am thinking a barrel vise and a really good whack.

Yes, those are barricade supports, the aluminum stock has a hammer head so if you don't get em with 7 rounds you can beat them with either end of the gun
The only non metal parts are the back up sights
