A hunting buddy of mine and i had planned an elk hunt for next week. I called him yesterday to confirm plans and he told me there was new plans. He used to guide ducks for quite some time, and an old freind had called him in dire need of his help guiding some waterfowlers in Northern AB. he asked if i could tag alnong and learn the ropes, so that next season i could be on his call list for extra help. I leave Saturday night for the week and it sounds like a good time is coming up. Not going to pop many caps but should take in some good experience.
