Until there is a defined timeline due to the uncertainty and vague policy changes issued by our Canadian Government IRUNGUNS LLC will no longer be offering the sale of handguns from our US website for export to Canada.

All sales currently in the system will be processed and the transfers are underway.

The rest of the site will remain open to the Canadian commerce and our import/export division will remain unchanged until the importation of Handguns to Canada in banned.
We would like to thank everyone for all the support over the years.

I think the issue as mentioned earlier is that people keep buying pistols that are not legal in Canada in the first place, so they end up spending a lot of time to refund people. People don't read - but you have to understand the technical difficulty of using geoloc to block certain category of products, easy to say but things get complicated in the back end, especially their SKUs are probably directly coming from the distributor database. It is not like they can easily tell by the SKU if the pistol is prohib in Canada, Literally someone has to sit there to go through it sku by sku to tag it somehow. Not like the developer can write a code like if SKU includes 1234 and user Geoloc = canada, hide display etc etc.

And people gonna get super angry if they buy something that get banned before the transfer, they won't take it well with the 25% restocking fee even if they are supposed to know ahead and accept the risk.

Did you even read their post before you went on your rant?

Sad days. Death by 1000 cuts. Kudos to IRG for their hard work getting the stuff to us over the years. I think right now the real hold up is the transfer approvals. They weren't ready for our numbers. HA

My Credit card says thank you, my gun cabinet on the other hand is sad.

Serves me right for delaying my order.

Just my 2cents

Keep the supply line open till the last minute, it could be the fall.

Some of us willing to forfeit loss

You will make record sales and keep us happy.

Hope you change your policy as supply dries up here your our only chance.

If the bill and freeze dont happen before summer break i could see them open the line back up for one or two huge last import. They would make ridiculous amount of sales and it would be mostly a safe bet.

Yes, we will continue to process magazine orders, please keep in mind if legislation changes and the capacities of you magazines need to be modified we will do so to ensure compliance with the Canadian Firearms regulations.

Yes, I would be interested in a response to this question as well.

so i put in an order in the wee hours of the morning (like 3am) before you guys put that big notice up on the website.
you guys dinged my CC right away (instantly).
so I'm assuming I got in just under the wire?

Will third party import that was started in 2019 and just waiting for gunsmith to send pistol in next few weeks be processed?
