Looming legislation forces IRUNGUNS to change in export policies

Does this apply to short barreled FX9, PC Charger, Bren 2, etc that are classified as pistols on the US side?

Are third party imports still happening? If they are newly initiated? Are you able to get your Arizona branch to send the serial # up when they receive the firearm so that the transfer can start immediately?

Yes that is correct, will will continue to do that so the transfers will start right away.

Yes, we will continue to process magazine orders, please keep in mind if legislation changes and the capacities of you magazines need to be modified we will do so to ensure compliance with the Canadian Firearms regulations.

Thanks IRG! When you will re-stock on mags?

I understand why you guys don't want to take the risk, but if the rumors are false and we don't get hit with an OIC, this would be the biggest missed opportunity ever. You guys have an advantage no other Canadian retailer has, you guys could have made a killing over the summer, so it's a shame but understandable. I wouldn't trust this government either.

I'd probably put an order in for the Beretta 92x RDO on the American site right now if I could. Maybe if some sort of timeline becomes firmed up and it's confirmed nothing will happen until the fall they'll open it back up for us? one can hope

I'll help you out here - apply for a canadian registration _to the buyer's name_ before processing the export/import paperwork. If the registration certificate is issued - you are good to go and you can finish up the export/import stuff at leisure. If it's not issued, things are relatively easy to roll back (restocking fee to cover the credit card chargeback if necessary). This way you won't get stuck with guns imported to Canada that you can't deliver.
